Am I Hungry?
For a long time, this question seemed irrelevant to me. I ate because it was time, or because I felt like I needed something, or because someone brought something delicious to work.
I had a lot of rules about eating. Nothing fake. Nothing white. Only this, only that, you get it. In my pursuit of being healthy, I adopted some really rigid ideas of how to live with food, and you can probably still find articles and blog posts that I wrote about it! You might be able to relate to my confusion and frustration as I struggled to learn how to find true balance in my eating patterns.
The process that I have undergone as health coach and as a person has been therapeutic and rewarding, and that's why I chose to become an Am I Hungry?®Mindful Eating provider and create the Happy Healthy You Mindful Eating Program. This approach to intuitive eating empowers you. You’ll reconnect to your natural instincts for hunger and satiety, discover how to meet your other needs in more productive ways, and rebuild trust with yourself.
